Recently finished some work and though I’d share, of course. Got to try out some of my new skills brought back from Jan Harrell‘s Enameling: Unplugged class I took at the Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN this Spring. Jan is a terrific teacher, evidenced by the fact that I was able to fairly easily re-create the torch enameling she taught once I returned to my Indianapolis studio. That’s a good legacy for an instructor. No panic, no worries.
Some of the dangly enameled earrings in shades of green and blue are right below. Also in the photo are the Swedish Blue cuff bracelet and a Bead Ring I created, using a pretty green stripe lampwork bead from Indianapolis artist, Ann Clough of Clo Glassworks.

Another especially sweet note is that my studio-mate, Wug Laku, of wUG LAKU’S STUDIO & gARAGE, allowed me to create a lovely jewelry display with some of his lovely Waterstone Wood Decorative Boxes. They are so beautiful, and I am stunned at how the colors coordinate and compliment both our little works of art. In the box above are my hand-forged Copper Spiral Bracelets with lampwork bead accents. Kinda pretty!
Wug is working on a website of his own, but if you want to contact him, go here.
Several items of my handmade jewelry are available on my Etsy site. Check it out and please leave feedback! My site is quite new there, and I’d love to know what you think.
And thanks again to Jan Harrell, Wug Laku and Ann Clough for being artists.
