My hope is that your have had a happy, fun and healthy summer. My own summer has been filled with unexpected joys, such as hiring an assistant (yay, Amanda!), a motivational speaking engagement, a radio interview, and an appearance on IndyStyle on WISH TV.
It has included good things for the people I love, such as witnessing the power of Facebook as my son looked for a last-minute roommate replacement – and found one in the nick of time. And a new buddy for his dog (my “grandson”) Duke.
That fun stuff was tempered by rearranging my schedule for urgent dental work coupled with bits of sad news from near and far. As I progress through this summer, despite those downs with the ups, I still look forward to fun times with family and friends, appreciated all the more because I am fully aware of how very precious and tenuous everything is. The outcome? Do it now, say it now, give it now, BE it now. Don’t wait!

These handmade sterling silver and garnet earrings are hot off the bench and ready for you! They aren’t in my online shop, so please click HERE if you’re interested in them.
They are 2 1/4 inches long. The deep red garnet is a little over 1″4 wide. There is an oxidized finish on these earrings which have been sealed with a museum-grade wax. $99 with free Priority Mail shipping to the contiguous United States.
Have  a look at these photos I took at the Arrowmont School of arts & Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN, the week I took a metal fabrication workshop and learned how to make a teapot. Actually, two teapots!
I tried and tried to order these progressively, but never could figure it out. But they are all here, and the captions will tell you a bit about where I was in the process. Hover your mouse over and you will see the captions. Final photos of the two teapots are in larger sizes at the end. The Flying Goat still needs patina on the body. Otherwise, please ezjoyyyy!
