I love sapphires in any color. Did you know that these versatile and tough stones come in every color of the rainbow? This ring uses a traditional blue sapphire, but in a rose-cut rather than a traditional-diamond-cut shape. A rose cut stone is one that is faceted on the top, and flat on the bottom. Rose-cut stones are one of the oldest forms of faceted gemstones. Still, in this ring it maintains a fresh and elegant character.This silver ring is set off by a deeply carved border and a hammered band, and the silver is oxidized to bring out the details.
