Hessonite Garnet is sometimes known as the Cinnamon Stone due to its reddish-brownish-orangey tones. This stone is a rose cut, one of the oldest faceted cuts for gemstones. Rose cut stones are faceted on top and flat on the bottom. It’s Hessonite Garnet been used for centuries. Due to these ancient uses, I imagine it as a perfect fit for my Woodland runes collection. This ring is set in sterling silver with oxidization to bring out the tool textures.
