Mookaite Awakening Necklace

This stone is found only in the Kennedy Range of Western Australia near Mooka Creek, which gives this jasper its name. “Mooka” is “running water” in Aboriginal terms. This is a stones that may be a little bit chalcedony, and gets a high polish on the opaque surface of the stone, with swaths of rosy color on a cream background. I set this one on a wide background with a double layer of silver. simply, Placed on a 22″ long adjustable snake chain.
