Handmade Oval Turquoise Ring in Sterling Silver – One of a Kind

Handmade Wayfinder Turquoise Ring

This turquoise ring is newest addition to my True North collection. This handmade ring is set with a large oval stone surrounded by a carved, wave-shaped bezel. The term wayfinder came to my mind as I was finishing the setting on this ring. It called me to a wandering spirit – not lost, but on a journey of discovery within one’s own heart. Life is about discovery, either of distant lands or the lands that are within each of us. No two journeys the same. Each day brings a new opportunity to orient ourselves, if only we look. I made several small portholes in the back of the setting so the blue of the turquoise can peek out. The silver is lightly treated with an oxidizing patina to bring out the details. Turquoise is one of my favorite stones. It is said to be a powerful carrier of positive energy. Let the good energy of this ring bring you to new places.

Ring is approx. size 7.5 on a double band, and is formed on a finger-shaped mandrel for comfort (see photo). Probably fits a size 8, too. Sterling silver.
