Handmade Sterling Silver Herkimer Diamond Statement Ring – Inspired Line

The herkimer diamond in this ring is one of three I purchased at a local rock show in Indianapolis held biannually at the fair grounds. When I saw these herkimer diamonds, I was taken by the size, clarity, and sparkle of the stones. Herkimer diamonds are found within exposed outcrops of dolostone in Herkimer, New York. They are not diamonds, but actually are clear, naturally faceted, double terminating, crystal quartz.

Metaphysically, these stones are known to energize, enliven, and promote creativity. When I began designing these rings, I wanted to create my own handmade prong settings and thought these herkimer diamonds were just the thing to set in them. This ring is one of a kind.
