Woodland Runes is a symbolic body of work rooted in my Lithuanian heritage and a pre-religious reverence for the natural world. Before Christianity, the forests of Lithuania were sacred spaces, and trees, plants, and animals carried meaning, protection, and memory. To this day, certain trees, especially oaks, are protected by law.

This collection draws from that lineage. Each piece functions as a quiet talisman—an exploration of repetition, continuity, and devotion rather than novelty. Some designs appear as one-of-a-kind works, while others return in small, intentional series, allowing meaning to deepen through form.
